Starbucks CEO pay: $96 MILLION Starbucks worker pay: $15,000 Coca-Cola CEO pay: $28 MILLION Coca-Cola worker pay: $14,000 CEOs used to make like 20x the average worker. In 2024, the average CEO earned 632x more. The system is rigged.

CEOs are overpaid because it's a mates club at that level. Imagine the productivity improvement if CEOs were paid what they are worth
For sure I can go without a Starbucks and a Coke - just on principle.
RE-rigged. We once had federal regulations on Finance that helped prevent this shit - FDR's New Deal. But Nixon, Reagan, & Clinton's "Third Way" repealed it all - in the name of "free markets". Now, even Dem leadership considers anything resembling the New Deal to be "radical socialism".
DISGUSTING. There should be riots.
Yes! Totally agree! We look to you as our Leader. I mean that in a good way. Concerted action is great to call-for, but who will bell the cat, as it were?
Im a Canadian in Canada.
Stop supporting it then?
We need more unions. And Trump just destroyed federal worker rights to collective bargaining. Private sector is next. Private sector is next. He wants all Republican governors. That is why he is targeting Dem states.
Basically, the hard working regular Americans are slaves to Oligarch’s. Starting with the Convicted Felon fraudulent President!
Being a felon isn't the issue, it's that he's a racist, rapist, rich baby brat lead-brained boomer
Plus he is a pathological narcissistic sociopath too !
Why put up with it?
Greedy workers !!
In an ideal world, socialism would be seen as the norm and capitalism would be viewed as radical. Instead…
The system WAS rigged, now it's just rotten #TURTLEISLAND #complexPTSD #disabilityrights #ANTIWORK
Yep, if they DON'T want people to have to depend on Public Assistance then PAY people ENOUGH to LIVE ON, there PROBLEM SOLVED!
Excellent, succinct truth!
The pay of the CEO of one of the world's largest investment funds, Norwegian Wealth Fund (+$2Trillion) took home an annual pay of less than $1million in 2023. Norwegians know to value EVERYONE in their society, not just add to the already excessive bank accounts of a favoured 1%. From "Fortune":
EVERY TIME YOU GO THROUGH THE STARBUCKS DRIVE THROUGH HOLLER "TELL BRIAN NICCOL TO RAISE YOUR WAGES!" (They have security cameras don't they?)
😡
It’s disgusting and unconscionable!
We need a Working Class party. No stocks, dark money, AIPAC money, lobbyist money while in office. Senate/Congress salaries in line with minimum wage & no free healthcare for y’all unless the whole nation has it.
Those numbers are lies. Starbucks is still shit and historically higher than it's ever been (for the CEO), but the numbers you are putting in for the workers are just pure fabrication.
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing.
CocaCola and Starbucks employees salary are ridiculously untrue. If they want to make a point, accuracy is imperative. This is bullshit. I used to work for the First to Work program. Shit employers are WalMart, food & hospitality corps. Hourly rates mean nothing, they randomly cut hours & benefits
Absolutely. If you look at Niccols comp, it is 10x or more what Schulz ever made even at the height.
I don’t know why they lie.
It’s not super helpful to say this without providing any way for the reader to find the evidence you’re referring to. If I wasn’t going to fact check the original post I’m not going to fact check yours. Now I just have two contradictory unsubstantiated claims. You’re not inherently more reliable
just because you’re contradicting the original post. You can say it’s the reader’s responsibility but what is the point of your response if not to be helpful to readers who aren’t fact checking themselves?
Funny thing is they're all on each others boards, so scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.
Starbucks taste like shit and so does Coca-Cola
Time to revisit this poignant and alarming video about wealth inequality in America.
These companies intentionally hire the most greedy managers so they can be certain of extracting the maximum profit.
And then with all of that extra money the corporations bought our government officials.
So much bad stuff in society today started with Saint Ronnie
I don’t understand why the workers don’t simply eat the CEOs?
cloudy ?
Well the people seem happy with it as they keep voting in the same system 🤷♂️
Eat the rich.
On a related note...
It’s just terrible
And, not sustainable...
this is the REPUBLICAN playbook
It would be nice to tax the wealthy based on what they pay their employees.. something like 75 times 60% tax rate, 100 times more that your lowest paid employee 80% tax rate. 125 times 100% tax rate. It is so hard to understand how a CEO affects the company 100 times more than a worker.
Release the Epstein files and let’s see how many ‘upstanding business men’ had business with Jeffry Epstein… FYI ask the trustees @ CHASE for a start 👀
VERY
Not rigged: broken.
That there are so many amoral/immoral people just blows my mind.
Why? God and the nuclear family create them
And yet workers shrug it off
Walmart and McDonald’s have the most employees on SNAP and Medicaid. We subsidize them.
Sounds like they should become co-ops first Imagine being able to get real locally grown food at a McDonald's? Or the same fresh produce and handmade goods at a Wal Mart
It's time to boycott the products!
A speck of dust in a lake
Called, STOLEN WAGES, keep thinking about this and the hardship you went through with this jailbait wages!
The system is working like it should. It's called predatory capitalism. Systematic and legalized theft by the corporate ruling class.
The accumulation of vast wealth by the super rich who have no allegiance to any state is a regressive trend for the distribution of power. It will taint governance and distort democracy - forever.
“Rigged” is a dumb term
$14,000???? I know Coke workers and they make good money and have great benefits. What is the source of this $14,000 figure?
I worked there from 1992 - 2002 and I think the lowest paid employees made more even back then. I had no issues with pay and benefits but I still believe CEOs are overpaid.
It's NOT difficult to stop patronizing Starbucks!.... I no longer find the need to patronize them and pay their outrageous prices for a cup of coffee! ...AND, to eliminate Coca Cola from your diet is healthier for your body!... Just sayin'...
Haven’t had a Starbucks in years. There’s always something better across the street. My office was a few minutes walk from the original Starbucks. It was interesting when it first opened but most of the time we stopped by a place on 1st Avenue instead for a Café Crème or Une noisette.
Practicable!
And they wonder why they can't afford to make their products
Insane. Tx the rich and release the OG Epstein Files
You don't have to work for a corporation. Y'all shouldn't be paying taxes for concentration camps. You shouldn't accept your ineffective politicians & this idiotic system.
Neoliberalism stinks!
Tax the rich...now!
Wait till you hear what they pay in taxes! We need a 3rd party to create fairness, DEMs do nothing to level the playing field
It really is! I mean...what's that all about? why does the guy who had the fabulous idea to sell coffee get paid 3.4 times more than the guy who had the fabulous idea to sell liquid-sugar in a can? That is soooo unfair! We need new laws to protect the CEO's against unfair competition.
It is called capitalism. And it is dying.
Not fast enough.
Why is everyone afraid of a anything that starts with 'social?' Social is just a collective word. All of us in a group.
Because propaganda made it a boogieman. They did a good job at brainwashing people into being as selfish as possible.
If I were the CEO of Coca Cola and I found out the CEO of Starsucks was making almost 4x as much as I did, I'd be building a guillotine too.
I’ve often said that we need a law where the every workers pay is tied to the C-Suite.
very disheartening.
This needs to be reposted every day! The system is not just rigged. The system is immoral, obscene and headed for a guillotine-based resolution! Billionaires, CEOs, you'd better damn well be watching your asses. There are targets on all your backs!
but the thing that is shared amongst all of them is that they are all going on break on september 4th to play hollow knight silksong
Publicly traded companies have a board, made up of " scratch my back, I'll scratch your" ex-CEOs, who approve CEOs pay. Is this where, for starters, lots of change needs t/b made?
Every corporation that is not a cooperative by 2028 dies And there can be no exceptions
Tax corporations that screw their employees at a MUCH higher rate. Pretty simple platform to run on! #taxtherich
That is true and also I’m glad the coffee guy makes more than the coke guy. If we are talking about value of the necessity.
Their GREED is all in our faces!! The great GREEDY Country and the demented so called president who is NOT making USA great "AGAIN!" WE are a disgrace 😤 for making the 90% poorer! And the 10% should be ashamed at what they are allowing tacoman to continue destroying! 🙄 SAD!
But costs have gone up. And tariffs on yachts are indecent. Why shouldn’t they earn more?
All the more reason to unionize
Big time
Yet, everyone still heads to work every day. Unless we all get together and hold a general strike, our children will be pointing out the same wage disparities when we are gone. There is no use in complaining, if we are not courageous enough to strike for what we know is right.
And they do feck all. Why do they exist? Oh,vof course, they are all in it together.
Always was. Biden tried to do something about it. But corporate stopped him. People voted for a liar or just didn’t vote at all and gave up their power. Now we may lose our democracy.
But the economy is so tight, they can't afford to give the peons a pay raise
Need more Luigis!
Inequality is not sustainable. Due to corrupt capitalism running amuck since the 1940's to present, this is why this situation persist today with corruption everywhere. Too many people in our society can be bought off pennies on the dollar nowdays. Our government is a prime example. Greed corrupts.
yeh having that much money is terrifying when my nan would if ran both companies for nothing if it helped
Work hard people and maybe just maybe
So many reasons to boycott #Starbucks and #Coca-Cola #Gazagenocide
Yet Americans keep voting against their own interest to improve their lives. Elected an Adjudicated RAPIST, Convicted FELON. A guy who had people attack the Capitol. We must be the dumbest Nation on the planet.
A majority of White Americans and non-Black racists keep voting like this. Just to be clear
Yes you are!
Trump this week: “I … have … the right to do anything I want to do. I’m the President of the United States.”
#usa
Wrists the difference? The responsibility that goes with the job.
CEO pay isn't tied to responsibility or performance. It is fueled by weak corporate governance, stock-based pay manipulation, and pay-setting processes that benchmark CEO pay against already-inflated standards.
Many firms raise CEO pay even during years of low profits or layoffs, which proves the pay is completely untethered from typical market logic or individual merit.
In 1965, the average CEO made about 21 times what a typical worker earned. By 2023, this ratio had ballooned to somewhere between 290x and over 1,000x at major companies, without any corresponding increase in CEO productivity or business complexity.
This is a Republican dream come true. Vote them out.
You push people too far ...
No contract, no coffee! Stand with Starbucks workers fighting for fair pay and more through our union - bit.ly/NoContractNoCoffee
The guy that coined the phrase “The rich get rich and the poor get poorer” had no idea of the wealth gap of today.
Thus, why they support Trump. Tax breaks are more important than a functional government, or so they are dumb enough to believe.
We need to overhaul the law of corporate governance and cap CEO pay. The right is so transfixed by the 1950s. What was the ratio then? Let's go with that.
Tax cuts. It's all tax cuts.
Basic minimum income and wealth tax!!!! <333
THAT is the problem. It isn’t the economy (well, wasn’t) it is greedy corporations who pay the C-level people obscene amounts of money and only care about shareholder value. This needs to stop.
These made up numbers. They are just assuming these companies pay minimum wage and almost no company pays minimum wage because they would never keep employees. The average pay at this companies is probably double that number. Still horrible compared to the CEO but facts are facts
Yeah people like to say the system is broken but really the system is fixed. It's working exactly how it's intended to work.
If you really want to make a point - which is a valid one - at least use worker data from a full time employee vs whatever this is. The disparity is plenty big. You don’t have to choose numbers that are skewed or just plain incorrect.
That IS full-time. Minimum wage in Georgia (and many southern states) is 7.25/hr x 40 hrs/wk x 52 wks = $15,080/yr.
Then present it as lowest paid workers vs avg workers. Or people making the fed min wage or something more accurate. That’s all. It all sucks and it’s wrong, but we are exhausted with the misrepresentation of facts. The other side manufacturers outrage daily. Let’s fuel our outrage with reality.
I gave you facts, Lee. Do with them as you wish.
Blackoutthesystem.com. FIGHT BACK! ✊✊🏻✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
Milton Friedman will one day be recognised as the most catastrophically corrosive economist of the 20th century. We can trace the destruction of the American economy directly back his bullshit “shareholder primacy” theory: the idea that capitalism demands prioritising shareholder profits above ALL.
I pity the shareholders!😗
Also no real repercussions for failure of job. They are let go with a huge payout.
All, stop drinking coke, coffee. Problem solved. Join and support cooperative movements for food security. Consumers can choose.
What are their hourly pay rates?
mediocre white men stand in line for the largesse
Look to the BoD for allowing it.
STOP. BUYING. THEIR. SHIT. PERIOD. 👇👇👇 bsky.app/profile/lind...
Sickening. I’ve known CEO’s of major public companies. They. Do. Not. Deserve it. They’re as interchangeable as their suits.
I'm a CEO and right now I make pretty much precisely 2 × our minimum team salary. We pay everyone as well as possible, whilst having some scope to recognise experience and commitment.
The problem is the idiots making less than $20000 are the ones feeding the asshole billionaires. This is the BIGGEST part of the problem, not the sociopathy of the eilte, but that of the STUPID SHEEP masses. People get this, right? D I V E S T O L U T I O N ! Words: the bosons of mass, no weight!
The CEO salary structure is rigged. They get bonuses for maximizing profit at any cost even at the expense of customers and employees. I have made a moral decision not to support such anti consumer corporations. Small and medium sized businesses fare much better.
CEO’s are rewarded on what they pay shareholders and their executive team. The lower the worker wages the more these others get …. It’s not rigged, it’s how the system was designed since Reagan and Thatcher made it that way. That’s why they’re pushing AI so hard, fewer workers to pay at all.
It's not since Reagan. It was always the problem how to share what our economy produces. Why should a company owner pay more than necessary (for him) to a worker? If workers to not unite and ask for more they will be held as slaves.
Excellent article this is exactly how the disproportionate distribution of money has happened in this country from poor and middle class to wealthy.
218 as of Today. The fascists are raging forward. Fascists at all gov't levels. I am being ASKED why I am protesting by TEACHERS!!! They had the summer off, why have they missed what is happening? Please do SOMETHING to save Democracy! youtu.be/O6EzqLPbMt8?...
Yeah, this shit needs to end. We can do better than end-stage capitalism. We must to do better than end-stage capitalism.
people who do the most actual work get paid the least
World leaders on average don’t even reach $1 million, it’s insane CEOs are paid that much
Your salary depends on your value add. It's an open market.
It is an open market until the wealth disparity is so bad that the masses rise up for their own market correction.
Masses can go and fuck themselves.
While you are right, I still don't think those CEOs add so much value to justify the salaries in the range of tens of millions, usually in stock options, in order to avoid getting taxed.
If they don't, why would companies pay them that much? Because they have pretty faces or something? 🤔
So you don't have the actual answer to that?...
The actual answer here is common sense.
Corporate tax rates should be tied to worker quality of life. Perhaps their tax bill is a multiple of their lowest paid workers yearly income.
6,666 times the barista. Go Starbucks, as in, go to hell.
CEO reports to shareholders. Workers report to CEO. As long as this unilateral reporting exists, such discrimination will continue. CEO pay should be decided by the workers just like workers pay is decided by the CEO.
I lived it first hand. Worked for what turned out to be a Trumper. He'd give himself and his SIL handsome bonuses and raises. Me...the person who'd worked for him for over a decade...I got a $4.50/WEEK raise....IN Aspen! I hate that man so very much but I was too old to look for another job.
The system would work better if politicians and wealthy business owners had not worked together to guy and malign unions. Without bargaining power the workers have little recourse when CEOs give themselves outrageous salaries!
We can change it with a ballot pull but only if we Take out ALL the g.o.p. trash, and their dem supporting cast, ASAP. A lot of things can be changed when you get rid of the pedo supporters and vote in progressives. Imagine a world where oligarchs/craporations are paying their fair share.
We want them dead in favor of co-ops and an Indigenous led govt fuck all the way off with this "imagine good corporations" shit a good corpo is a worker cooperative and that you don't know that by now is exactly why we're fucked
It’s still so insane to me that Reagan could slash the top marginal tax rate by nearly 50% and gut social programs, and then win 49 states in the next election. I know it happened bc of white supremacy, but it’s truly a fascinating example of how much people will put status before prosperity.
And we are constantly told how high product prices would be if we raised workers pay. . . . I think we’ve been fooled.
Has been rigged forever. Try being a woman in this world. Talk about rigged!!!
Absolutely! We make less money and pay more for everything. Higher rates and prices on cars, houses, healthcare, you name it. I need to follow you, texaspenguins!
Yes it is. But we can break it. We can work together and break it all
Just saying, you get one publicly cannibalized and they may start second guessing things.
Capitalism sucks.
I keep hearing that we need to vote Democrat all the way down. My argument is that the wage theft that has occurred over decades has been on both D and R watch. There are D’s currently refusing to endorse progressives ready to address the wage theft issue and prioritize working class prosperity.
I do agree that both parties are not the same as we have witnessed the complete castration of the Republikklan party, but we do have to be careful that we do not blindly fall in line between the establishment Dems. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
At the end of the day, we have a two-party system. So once our primary candidate is determined, we the need to critically think to recognize which of the two will be best for the country. I don’t see many non-MAGA candidates stepping up to the plate, so it should be an easy decision at that point.
But my point is we need to do our due diligence in knowing who that best candidate is. Look at the campaign and personal disclosures. What money they are accepting in the form of “pay back” when they get in office. Also, no politician is perfect, so do not hold out because they don’t check every box
Comrades, this is why the state should run these companies. Chairman Trump will help us get our fair share of the profits from our daily toil. 😂🐍🦂🦈🐊
This is why the CEO's hate trade unions.
You can't feed or house yourself on that.
There's a reason why 1 income could buy a house and a new car in 1950 Because in 1950 all corporate profits were taxed at 50% All of them
"Starbucks worker pay: $15,000" For WHAT? A month, a year?!? Can't be a year!!!!
“Remember kids… Profit is the unpaid wages of the working class.” Old posters from well before either one of us were born. Not a truer word.
No guardrails = more crashes
Obscene! Absolutely obscene!🤬
This is why we need a full blow. American version of the FRENCH REVOLUTION! that will teach all for the future! Making money is fine but you must have to pay all employees a livable wage not a survival wage!
And those CEO's are the ones getting the Trump tax cuts.
One could argue such differentials are unconstitutional as to the Preamble of the Constitution violating 18 USC 241 which Congressional Democrats could correct by stating tax cuts never complied with the 16th amendment and restore the tax structure to the original. bsky.app/profile/wilb...
When was the last time the system was not rigged that way in the US? Let me get this one. Never.
What? These numbers are not even close to being real. What do you think as a CEO that a brand new barista should make?
Nothing is stopping us from raising the minimum wage ourselves. Just enter in the $15 for everyone. Hire everyone and train them. It sucks working short-staffed. There are more jobs to do than there are people. It's just data on screens, they lose nothing but us being uncomfortable, and gain sales.
I fuckin told you exactly how to fight back for years. The answer is my pinned comment. It's the only thing you haven't tried. Most of you are cowards, so I found an easier way for you. You've seen how fast things change when investors pull funding. That's us.
📌
And we can unrig it with a new Workers Bill of Rights that will cap out CEO to median worker pay gap and reduce full time labor to 30 hrs/wk and provide unlimited PTO for illness. They broke the social contract and it is on us to fix it. It is on us to stop this oligarchy.
So then let's go for it. Let's rewrite the social contract and make all businesses worker-owned with one person-one vote management.
Rewriting it is one thing. Enforcing it and negotiating it with the powers that have authority is another thing. It’s gonna need to be done with force because these oligarchs will just laugh at our counterpoints. I’ve been writing a ton on the things that can constitute a new social contract.
My two main points are measures that can eradicate the corruption in our system & diminish the power of the mega conglomerates & secondly bring a sense of balance and freedom to the constituents that work to build this economic system with rights that provide us that standard of living we deserve.
How do you imagine that is going to happen? Honestly curious, because organizing isn't lowering their pay and most of the senators and congresspeople are bought by the lobbyists
The only way I see us renegotiating this social contract will be through a war. We are living in a new gilded age right now & the wealth disparity between the ultra rich & working class is almost insurmountable. It’s larger than it’s ever been in human history. They won’t give it to us peacefully.
Not necessarily a war. We could just make a new currency based on actual work hours, and then refuse to accept dollars for any of our goods and services. All the billionaires would suddenly have no value, while people working for a living would still be able to acquire everything they needed.
Basic Minimum Income (BMI) !!! We already have established systems through social welfare systems, generalize it for every citizen and bring taxes back to the billionaires to pay for it (Trump gave them 20% back over his two terms so far), including a wealth tax on the uber rich.
It’s not just Trump who has been rewarding these oligarchs. Pretty much every administration since Reagan has done everything to appease the ultra wealthy. From free trade agreements that enslave third world workers to extending the bush era tax cuts twice and lowering interest rates for them.
Literally, “trickle-down” is a joke, I can’t wait until we trickle up for once. There’s some great research being done in some states and Canada (probably elsewhere, EU?) on the benefits of giving people in poverty cash stipends, especially target populations like single mothers—helps their future
Wait it gets better, CEOs want everyone to believe that an education is no longer necessary to work at their companies. What lie is this? Why would they want uneducated individuals, when computational and complex analytical skills are needed to move forward in today's economy. This is nefarious.
Shits real. I’ve seen music degrees given eng jobs, people with no degrees given eng jobs. The only qualified on paper people are the ones in HR and above, and they’re the ones making these decisions. I’ve even had one lol and I have no degree.
Is that "Ainz Ooal Gown".... where are the floor guardians ?
Fuckin with the Dark Youngs, them bleats are mad adorable.
Most elites don’t care about the average worker. They’re moving towards AI.
Never were these people visionaries; their only concern was the data they could gather and market. It's absurd to think that so many people have been and continue to be duped into thinking that they were acting in their best interests. It's a ruse to gather information.
Bullseye! There will never be equality in this country again, between “rich” and “not rich” unless the “rich” are genuinely afraid of being truly harmed. They have no real skin in the game and until they do, nothing will change.
Never mind, I hadn’t read this other comment of yours - absolutely, 100% agree…sadly :/
Honestly my hope is that the economy crashes so badly they lose their power and we don’t have to fight- though tbh it would probably involve infighting anyways and I just wish we could fix things easily hhhh
Violence.
General strike. No one makes money if WE don't work. Middle working class holds all the power, we just dont use it bc too many of us think trump elon and other billionaires actually care about us. If we ceased productivity, even for 1 day....you'd see change.
You really think the people who receive millions in donations by billionaires will ever put up a bill like that? We need to be much more serious than that imo 🤷♂️
Those are serious terms. There will be even more added but the terms stated are within reason and if billionaires won’t negotiate faithfully then it’s time to negotiate forcefully.
What can anyone add to that? 👏👏👏
It's wild that the SBUX CEO earns 3x what the Coca-Cola CEO does. Coca-Cola had a HUGE global brand profile, that includes all kinds of items on 6 of the 7 continents on earth. Both earn too much, or at least aren't taxed enough.
“BIG CRIME” Neil Young’s new song —“There’s big crime in D.C. at the White House.” m.neilyoungarchives.com/news/1/artic...
Put it into figures we can sort of comprehend For every DAY the scumbag CEO 'works' his worker will need to complete 2 YEARS labour, OR a fifty year / lifetimes work is taken by CEO every MONTH 🤬🤬🤬 We seriously need Luigi back on the streets
Thank you, Ronald Reagan, for starting us down this road we've been on ever since.
I had to write letters in school to him and Bush Sr Fuck both of em for the PTSD they've stuck us all with
retribution
I can honestly say, I never liked, still don’t like Starbucks coffee ☕️ always tastes burnt! I’m also not a Coca-Cola drinker, prefer ginger ale! After seeing the stats, I’m happy I didn’t! Hey Starbucks and Coca-Cola, wakey-wakey; time to start paying your workers a decent wage; don’t cha’ think?!💙💖
Stop the madness. All of their employees need to strike all at one time
A Ponzi scheme but legalized?
Minimum wage just means the company would pay you less if it was legal
Federal Minimum Wage is still $7.35 after 16 years. They hate us.
Yet they vote on their own raises and benefits.
There needs to also be a legal maximum wage for CEO’s, preferably tethered to the minimum wage (eg: capped at 3x whatever min wage is) so that when the tide (profit) comes in, all boats rise. And this should account for all forms of compensation (stocks, etc) not just “wages,” to close loopholes.
it is also what you accepted and then spend the rest of the year crying about. how ignorant to sit there crying instead of applying for better jobs. like falling in a sewr and demanding they turn it in to a swimming pool because you are too lazy to climb out
They're actively pursuing AI so as not to employ people anymore. Whilst we stand and watch/make funny pics on ChatGPT.....
Don't take the job. Don't buy their products. Starve the wealthy who own or invest in the business.
Spot on! I remember Chris Rock saying this once in his stand up. Lol youtube.com/shorts/hdhVk...
If someone was hoarding more food than they could ever eat while others were starving we would think that person a monster but if a person is hoarding more money than they could ever use while others are starving, sick & homeless, we think that person is an idol. Our prioritize are f*cked up.
It's always been rigged. It's just starting to show really really vividly
Hey now, someday I will make $28M and when I do, I don't want this kind of scrutiny, so I'd prefer it if we could all just let this slide now.
Why do MAGAs have such rock hard boners for this?
they claim they luv Jezuz but their real god who they have absolute devotion to is Mammon
Require any public company to award all employees stock each quarter they are employed based on years of service and position, and pay dividends.
CEOs dont ever need to make that much. They dont do shit. Until we reset the world, nothing will change.
And When Companies Are Asked Why?....The Answer For The Last 40 Years Has Been, "Well Everyone Else Is Doing It"....
It SURE is! 👺☠️👹
We need to legislate the amount a CEO can make. We'll call it the Save the Children Act. Because its the same way these ghouls would act to bring in child slavery.

!!!
American Nightmare.
yep, they work you like a slave and they take home all the profits the American way
Nothing is going to change for the better UNTIL the wealthiest and their puppet politicians are introduced to Guillotines.
It’s Trickle Down Economics! This how it is supposed to work actually.
CEO compensation should be limited to 5X the lowest paid employee. That will solve low pay.
The C-Suite thinks they're better than you. That they deserve all the bonuses and none of the downturn.
It’s not rigged. Just don’t be an entry level employee limiting your skills to only ever making minimum wage.
Except people with education and skills can't get any jobs. So they have to get low paying jobs in the meantime. And they get trapped in the low paying job cycle because nothing ever comes up for better jobs. They have the skills and education... they just can't get work with it.
Minimum wage earners should get yearly pay rises at 1% above inflation minimum. Middle income bracket .5% above inflation yearly minimum. Top 10% 1% Below inflation per year and top 1%, 2% below inflation per year. Until CEOs salary are back to 20 times the workers wage.
Now you know why I don't patronize... Starbucks Don't buy/drink Coca-Cola No Amazon use in months No longer donate to ASCPA ( CEO salary 6mil I believe) NO ONE is worth that kind of cash! fyi donate local level for animals/charities/fundraisers etc I'm not paying for your FN jet!
Lack of union power due to erosion starting with Reagan.
To be a CEO, you have to be soulless. It's a requirement.
I don't mind people getting rich. I mind them getting rich while their neighbors and employees struggle with housing, food, and health care. I still can't get over the fact that hundreds of billionaires sat on their asses during COVID without becoming the heroes they had the resources to be.
In 1970 the ratio was 23.5 to 23.9..but then came Reagan

Because citizens got lazy as the corporations made things to provide us all, almost sleep walk us into stupidity. If people can wake the feck up, we can retake the country and end this all
Not "rigged", just elementally "wayyy out of whack".
I don't know what Bezos makes, but a shift in amazon warehouse is 4 hours. You can't make more than 28 or 30 hours a week. They have over 1 million warehouse workers in USA
And the Federal poverty level as posted on Healthcare.gov today is: drum roll, $15,650 for a single person. So, they don’t even pay above that. Shameful beyond belief.
Are they breaking the law?
no, just society
Very much true.
Of course it is, it’s been rigged.
Yeah. What do they do that they deserve that kind of money????
Those numbers aren't right at all Starbucks starting out is $31,000 CEOs make way to much money but lets not be stupid in the numbers.
AND they've been relying on us taxpayers to make their business model possible by covering health care, food, and housing for their employees to make this possible. Corporate welfare - it's a common corporate strategy.
Unions. Unions are how we fix this.
Prices could come down if the CEO'S were not so overpaid. What does a CEO do that makes them think they are re so much more valuable than their workers. Many CEO'S don't even know how many things in their company even get done.
And share holders! They put money in, they should get a DECENT return on their money. NOT barges piled sky-high with gold bars!
Coca Cola data from August 2025 showing ranges like an average of $45,151 annually for an Indianapolis location, $42,000 per year for a Production Worker at The Coca-Cola Company, let’s not use misinformation. We’re not them.
As someone who has spent over 20 years in manufacturing you couldn’t hire a single person for $14,000 a year. Production work is hard, but it pays well. With OT a Coke worker probably makes between $65-70K a year. That’s just for someone without a specialty job. My best year I made almost $90K.
you’re forgetting that many fast food and coffee shop employees only work part time, often as a second or third job
I agree that we need to nuance these arguments.
Avoid both. Starbucks is shit. Coke too. There are always alternatives
We don't need those poisons anyway. Fight the rich!
Time for guillotines.
