I've been thinking about this and see new posts on the subject. I wonder how many entities that get insurance know where their company keeps the data? There is a lot of sensitive data (personally identifiable) on those servers. In my view data sovereignty was as important as security.

I agree data sovereignty is very important. I think very few people think about or even care where companies store information. Heck, most people don't want to hear when I explain the privacy problems with Google, and how it's easy to switch browsers. 😖

And let’s not even get into data sexuritt of healthcare providers… i refuse to use their portals.

I never use online healthcare--too risky for privacy....and insurers buy medical data so to increase your premiums.

Rampant and oervasive issues by companies and governments that we sre unaware of despite it drastically affecting our lives. And no incentive to fix any of it.

Just use America as the example. Rampant corporate influence is why we’re characters in this shitshow. Anybody against it after that is anti-Canada thru and thru.
