What I always think of: my friend's mom started boycotting Nestlé in the '80s. I took some cues from her along the way, and many products are easy to swap out, but the fact remains: it's 2025 and they're still doing all the same shady shit even if I've spent 40 years not making Toll House cookies.
Many companies really, really are too big to dent at a consumer level, and you'd get more mileage out of making a stink about it with your congressional rep than you would patting yourself on the back for your grocery list.
