i'm sorry to hear that. i can relate- depression diagnosis in high school, though i didn't experience any ideation until much later. everyone has their own struggles, but for me, i definitely have benefitted from being open about it, not secretive.

Same here! I’m in a much better place now, and even ended up with a Psychology degree due to it all. Bottling it all up is what fed the cycle for me; therapy was immensely helpful and taught me a ton of things that I continue to do to this day to keep it at bay/mentally healthy
