The new vaccines are coming next week and unfortunately we pharmacists have to follow the guidelines set forth. It sucks. It’s going to get heated. But don’t hate your pharmacist. Call your senator, call your representative. Call people who have the power to change the guidance.
These are the CDC guidelines. RFKJr wants people to believe they don't qualify, when most do, to discourage people from getting vaxxed to make the antivaxxers happy. He wants to run in 2028 and have the MAGA base. Nowhere does it say anyone needs an Rx. Self-attestation has always been accepted.
That's the list of reasons that a Dr can prescribe it to you, like any other medication. That doesn't automatically mean you can just get it.
