Great acting from the two leads, but I thought the script felt uneven and disjointed. Definitely worth a watch. Iβm also going to be *that person* and say how much better the book is.
lol ... most of us are "that person".
Loved A Serious Man.
Ha. I also watched JSA this week. It's very good!
It was! It recently came on my radar.
I randomly decided to watch/rewatch all of Park chan-wook's movies JSA was a pleasant surprise Also Stoker if you haven't seen that. Wasn't on my radar at all but it's very solid!
Stoker is great! Iβm sure youβve seen it but I think Oldboy was my first introduction to his work! π³
Yeah I've seen the bigger ones already. I have a couple more lesser known ones left on my list to complete the set I think my top 3 would be: The Handmaiden Decision To Leave Oldboy But the quality is very consistent!
oh yeah! I watched JSA earlier this year for the first time: incredible movie!
I need to rewatch A Serious Man. I didn't get it at all first time round but I love the Coens and enough people rate it highly to persuade me that I must have missed something.
Iβve seen it a few times and itβs not my favorite Coen film, but I get a little something different each time I watch. Which I guess is the point of a good film.
Absolutely!
