The only reason it feels like Sanderson is in this conversation is because he finished someone else's series before. Like, Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck are right there, if it HAS to be done (it shouldn't be).

When Martin once said “if I die no one else is finishing it” I made a joke about Brandon Sanderson sighing in disappointment. But not because I thought he’d be a good fit (he would in fact be a terrible fit.)
