Not as much a joke as dark irony. Besides, I think profiting off our desth is a bit harsh. Profiting off disease is much better, if the host dies so does the parasite, essentially.

Maybe not, they would if they could make money off it. But as I said, more profitable to keep us alive and paying rent...
