The last 3 years have been the hottest in around 125,000 years. CO2 levels are their highest in MILLIONS of years. But most people have no idea this is happening, let alone what it means for our kids’ futures. Our politics & media have failed our children. We should be furious.

We all know the answer to this. Prositutes you pay to leave. Gold diggers you pay to keep around. It's why Melania keeps renegotiating her prenup.

Hillary asked a million times whey she didn't leave her cheating husband, but Melania never once

It is an unsustainable loop where the wealthy buys themselves political power to make themselves more wealthy until the majority is literally starving. That is how you get bloody revolutions historically. Not saying it should be flat but wealth MUST be taxed.

Part of that actually makes me hopeful. Russian fossil money keeps Whoreban afloat. US fossil money funds many of his clones like Farage and Le Pen. And fossil money will dry up within the next 5 years...

I am convinced that "Eastern Europe" is a window into the future of the West. That we will face the same challenges in wealth inequality and to our democracies as they have. Consequently, dismissing what happened in a place like Hungary as a "they problem" will be harmful to us in the long term.

The fossil lobby’s last gasp is loud—but futile. Batteries & solar → fastest-growing energy in history. EVs? 3m in 2020 → 21m in 2025. The tide isn’t turning back—math, markets & machines are unstoppable. The future isn’t fire, it’s electrons. Ignore the noise, follow the facts. #EnergyTransition

For decades, Republicans in Washington have told us that tax cuts would trickle down to workers. Instead, wealth and power have accumulated in the hands of the richest 1% at the expense of the rest of us. Trickle-down economics was never supposed to work. It was a hoax.

Yes well a LOT of republican donors got a LOT of money for building that, great for the GDP. Who cares if it works?

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.

I think this is an extremely on point and honest statement of how they view this. It is a fundamental misunderstanding of science. To quote Asimov:

Brain rot. This absolute confidence in the rightness of one's own thinking has led us to this nihilistic, tech bro libertarian dystopia that is going to make our lives less good. Less healthy. Less secure. Less comfortable. Less safe. Shorter.

Russian mercenaries operate in the shadows, exploiting Africa’s resources. They want us to look away, to cower, to forget. But I won’t forget the faces of the survivors I’ve met, the graves I’ve seen, or the courage it takes to stand up to those who believe they are untouchable.
