fuck you're right. also the emotions of it. it's actually disturbing me greatly how "empathy" coded they've made these chat bots. like it is not a surprise at all that there's trends of people replacing actual real life socialization with these bots and there being really bad fucking consequences
All of these chats are being indefinitely stored somewhere. Why? I will NEVER share feelings & troubles with a chatbot None of us should use this shit. It's all bullshit. Fake friends. Fake therapists. Fake counselors. Why? For the profit of the techbros & their ability to monitor & control

I think it's very complicated. I have used Claude for therapy, but only to pull strings together o give me facts. Therapy here is not affordable or available where I live. It helped me greatly. BUT I have great real people in my life I talk to first. Some people take what AI says for gospel
...over real conversation. Especially young people are vulnerable to get themselves into a reinforcing loop. You almost have to have a safety instruction before using it!
I also have to add that I find Zuckerberg's idea of permanent AI chat bots on FB, you can return to and have relationships with, beyond disgusting and absurd!
There's already an entire subreddit of people who claim their partner or fiance is ChatGPT/another LLM. 😩
