What the absolute heck?? We’ve *dramatically* reduced our water consumption in this house. I mistakenly keep assuming other citizens are equally invested in our mutual survival through this drought.

Some of my neighbour's continued to water lawns, wash cars and house siding.

I’m not surprised. Some have become very selfish. There’s one new subdivision where the house on the very end has lush green grass while everyone else has their lawn brown. The neighbour was watering theirs, I glared and they waved at me. Took a lot not to say anything. Complete irresponsibility!

Same here. We haven't showered in 3 wks. Dishes 1x day (water reduced). Down to 1 coffee in the morning. 1 load of laundry a week. Toilet flushing reduced (clean every time with spray cleaner). More prepared foods (cut out cooking with water).... And yet. Granted, more people now, but still...

My 4 year old surprised me with the faucet left running upstairs. No knowing how long, it’s probably us lol thought we were reducing but kid had other plans
