You clearly weren't around in the Seventies! Punk was a breath of fresh air and totally energised popular music. A one term Corbyn government could have done the same to politics and would arguably have been less harmful than a Johnson/Truss government.

I'm 64 years old. And remember the music scene perfectly well. And not in a selective way. It energised a few bands and ultimately changed nothing. While the managers laughed all the way to the bank. And tossers like Danny Baker use it to pretend they're anti-establishment. Just like Corbyn.
Strange the way J Corbyn is being described in terms of punk, I agree with that, but I don't agree his impact would have been fake or possibly short lived. With or without JC the world is waking up to the destruction of rampant capitalism doing nothing, continuing down this path is not an option.
