Yes, and it's useful to remember that the Federal structure as a whole was different then, to put the quotes from various Founders into context.
The founders never contemplated that over half the Congress would become fully corrupt as well
Congress & SCOTUS are enabling a mad king, in defiance of our Constitution. They are supposed to secure our democracy but are derelict instead. We need a lot of impeachments after the 2026 election!
