For me, it was choosing to go fishing, rather than to church. I then viewed what I was hearing in my infrequent visits to church as increasingly silly. If you think about it, it's just stupid. But thinking about it is definitely not what you're supposed to do.

Completely agree, I have actually read the Goatherders guide to the Galaxy, and it is one of the fastest ways to Atheism - but as you rightly say 98% of the cult members have never read it or are ever likely to. Used by the global power brokers to control the masses - nothing more.
