I see your book report and raise you a dissertation, passed through plagiarism software. (Anyone can write a shallow reading book report of a YA novel. I want to see something that can't be written by AI.)
And, if said parent stuck the pages together before they wanted it banned, they owe the library a new book.
And theyβre not allowed to use ChatGPT for the book report.
A friend of mine posted this on FB, if anyone knows the original author - please post and I can give full credit π
Frankly, I'm shocked, but not surprised, it isn't already done like that.
Surely, though, they ought to have to report WHY they want it removed to the Head, face to face?
Please note: The small print must ALSO include the clarification that any such request for a bookban will only be entertained/considered if the book report ALSO gets an A+ π
Newer rule-- a parent who wants a book in the library banned can fuck right off!
