She must feel so much better when shaved. How on earth do you hold her down to run the clippers over her coat?

I ended up needing to lightly sedate her. We wrap her in a towel like a burrito and I do the back half first. I couldn’t get her very well at first which is why the first cut was so ugly 🤨 Asked my vet for help & she suggested light sedation. Worked really well this time. I even got most of her
Sounds like a four hands project. She's thanking you profusely with her manic kneading. Your vet sounds wise. My porch cat (spoiled feral cat who has had canned cat food twice daily & heated beds, toys, etc. for seven years now) hates the foam antibiotic I somehow applied to her scratched up nose.
It’s most definitely a 4 hands project! My daughter helps. All of the beings in your life get wonderful care ❤️
Thank you, PandaMom. Yes, my pets are super pampered. And that's just how I am. I'm so glad your feline feels cooler and much better now. That's really awesome that your daughter helps.
belly this time. She feels so much better now even though she hates the process 🥰
