It's always the quiet ones that are the most dangerous. The guy who doesn't need to raise his voice for his orders to be followed. He's got blood on his hands. Guaranteed that it isn't all done by his goons. He seems like the type that would handle as much of it as possible personally.
No doubt; or at least earlier in his career that was almost certainly the case.
