I don't know, are you allowed to burn anything in a public setting like that? Like if I was to bring my bed comforter to the park, and set in on fire, would I be arrested for the fire?

This wasn’t a bed comforter and the question is not whether you’re allowed to burn *anything* in public. This entire issue of flag burning has already been addressed by the courts.

The issue is the president issuing an executive order than even taken on it’s own terms did not (and could not) change the law.

Actually that’s a good point. But they didn’t tell him what he’s being arrested for, like we get together after your in a jail cell and figure it out. So they violated his rights. Bet he’s released with no charges.
