A guy who hates DC JUST SAID on television that he doesn’t wear his seatbelt because he’s afraid of carjacking (which makes negative sense, by the way) so I hope these guys are on the lookout for him.

Yes. Much more than L.A. (but less than New York), it’s a walking city, which means you stop all these cars and what you get is partly people who are out walking who stand around objecting.

White people's fear of carjacking is way or of proportion to the actual risk. In my lifetime, the two most famous "victims" were lying to hide their complicity in murder. (They assumed it would work, because they believed it was the kind of crime that happens every day.)
