This is going to be a disaster for Trump. National Guard soldiers have actual real lives outside of their responsibilities to the Guard. These aren’t full time service members. Trump is taking away people from their jobs and families and sending them to who knows where for who knows how long.
not all those regular employers will continue to pay these NG members while they are deployed, which means some of them are actually getting a PAY CUT to serve this dictator.
The reason Trump is using these people is because he gets to order them around and they have to do it. Want to bypass federal employment law and accommodations? Call in the National Guard for your stupid tasks!
