This is all just theoretical anyway - the United States government does not recognize a state unilaterally leaving the union. No Blue state would win the right to leave the U.S.

Do I think it’s a good idea? Yes. I also think it’s just randos spit-ballin’ online. But my take is that it would be economically viable (if not beneficial), that’s all. I’m not wading into logistics, or who would be willing to upend their life to participate in this purely speculative exercise.
