they made a lot of money off of me explaining that Rogue and Colossus weren't as strong as The Thing or Thor and I internalized all of it. That binder is still in this house somewhere i never thought that the rankings meant that they would lose the fight, though. Spider-Man beat the Juggernaut

Exactly. “Who would win?” is a different question from “What (figurative) weight class are these heroes in?” The first is way more subjective and depends on the story. The latter was a question that was even being answered all the way back in ASM Annual #1 by Stan himself.
