Why treat a symptom when we could be treating the disease? How many gun laws are on the books that haven’t changed a thing? Guns aren’t going anywhere. Decades of failed lobbying and legislation have proven that. Why not aim to actually create a better society?
Because this is America, helping poor people is further down the list than gun legislation is
Maybe if we made it a bigger priority, we could stop grasping at straws after every mass shooting.
