It's heartening to see at least one news outlet report asylum stories that are actually about the lives of the people affected - asylum seekers themselves. Such a contrast with the way so much of the media breathlessly hypes every utterance of the far right.

Actually no. The protest have been _incredibly_ small. This is 100% a media confection, and they will not stop until someone spills blood. In the main, the UK public, who do have poor attitudes to migrant, I agree, have not risen to the bait. Not for the lack of trying by the press though!
