I'm fucking fuming right now. Apparently, my son is FORCED to have a school issued chromebook, not his own. My mother signed the contract, despite me mentioning numerous times I will not be responsible for that when my son has his own. Apparently this is a @governor.ny.gov rule now?? 🧵
If he already has a purchased Chromebook, what is the POINT, now they he is being forced to use a school issued one, AND if it breaks, I have to payoney I don't have to replace it, even if it's an easy fix??? Not cool. None of us can afford that. I will be speaking to his guidance counselor about it
If they insist on supplying the Chromebook then they should be paying for insurance to cover any loss or damage. It's their property, it's THEIR liability.
