If hangman wins, I want it to be because darby returns and helps stop death riders with swerve and ospreay
during Hangman's first road to the title, they did it... but that is because Hangman was going on paternity leave. But this time around, that isn't happening. The story has been built from Day One of the Death Riders that it was ending at All In. Everyone paying attention could easily see that.

I think he knows how to read what fans want, unlike Russo. He knows that if he tried to pull the same shit Hunter did with the Roman-Cody story, he'd have a very difficult time explaining it in a way that made sense. Hunter didn't even do that and only got lucky on the ending a year later.

I don’t think having the champion win is really a swerve That’s just a result some people don’t want I want Hangman to win but I also think it’s odd that some people are saying it’s impossible he’ll lose & doomsaying AEW if he does, especially since so many people did the same for Swerve at Dynasty
For me, this is the 3rd act of the Death Riders story. There comes a point when the hero has to prevail. Everything has been built to this point. Hangman saves AEW. Anything else just seems wrong and would be a swerve. The heat needs to build to a pay off and the timing of this pay off is All In.
I get that. And Hangman is 100% a great person to “save” AEW, but he’s not the only one Darby could (he’d be a worse pick than Hangman in my opinion, but I don’t book it) Eddie also could if he’s anything close to being healthy enough Either way, I’d be happy to wait & see whatever story AEW told
Just started watching Dynamite weekly on the MAX debut and while I've seen the online news about Darby, nothing on TV would suggest that Hangman is nothing less than the biggest star they got(other than Osprey or Swerve). But Hangman definitely has the more emotional investment of the crowds imo.
If hangman losses it will be the first time people can honestly say AEW fucked yo the booking and it was just bad. The only acceptable outcome hangman as champ at all in
I just can’t see them screwing this storyline up. It’s reached its logical conclusion. The real Hangman is back and he’s taking the title back for AEW. If it goes the other way, it’ll be the biggest mistake TK will make when booking. Thankfully I trust in TK to do the right thing.
I trust Tony to have a great new chapter ready to entertain us even if Hangman loses.
For me, there is no new chapter in this story. Hangman wins. Darby comes back. Hangman v Darby for the Title is the next story I think they’ll tell. Then we need Eddie Kingston back to feud with Mox.
I think there's possibilities we're not even thinking of. Tony has more cards than we can see yet.
I think when Darby comes back he feuds with Mox while hangman fights the winner of the gauntlet let. Then at WrestleDream it’ll probably be Hangman vs Darby for the title.

That can’t be the plan. I could see it before the Owen. If Darby would have came back and won the Owen I could understand but there is no way you put Adam Page in this position and don’t put the belt on him. I would seriously consider my viewing habits if that happened.
yea, on the one hand i did think darby losing to mox, climbing mt everest and coming back to beat him was pretty awesome, you can't build hangman this much for THIS show and not deliver, you just can't... but 30+ years of bad wrestling from other promotions has me not sure until it actually happens
