I agree, if Walmart is your main source of groceries @$100/wk, you're not going to cut back to $30-40/wk. You'll still spend your $100, but you won't get as much. Not even logical to cut back 60-70% unless you have somewhere else to get your food.

In fairness to that, though, if all your other bills, like rent, gas, phone, insurance, went up, then what’s left for food goes down.
