Yep, especially considering most free transfers are that for a reason - namely older players who more closely consider other stuff like location and are less caught up about mid to long term. Ziyech to Elche for example, might not make sense to some, but a nice season in Spain at 33, beautiful!

This is probably biased in favour of the football I specifically watch but I do feel like players are definitely thinking about nice locations and good lifestyle more than they used to.
