If you launch them into the sun though, there’s a nonzero chance some of their matter could make its way back to Earth and end up in our bodies and that makes me feel icky :(

If you're willing to spend a lot of time the extra delta-V cost can be made arbitrarily low They would just be dead of old age before they get to the sun
