I am a communist and I’m here to tell you, no we didn’t kill people for their views we killed them for committing crimes against humanity. Someone with a sick mind has an illness, that’s not criminality, it needs to be treated. Miseducation is corrected with education. None of that is punitive.
Actually the Soviets killed a TON of people for their views come on you don’t need to whitewash their history.

I don’t claim the USSR as a good model for communism, and anyway I was talking about Nuremberg.
Also, looking at the situation materially I don’t cast the same kinda blame on the post GPW soviets for their callousness and bloodthirst as I do on present day leftists. I think that’s reasonable.
