I’m done making the argument against Newsom. We have made MANY arguments over and over and over. Anti-trans, attacks on the homeless, anti-union, buddies with alt-right Nazis. At this point anyone asking why we don’t like him is a troll, an op, or willfully ignorant. End of conversation.
The fundamental reason this discourse persists is because Newsom is doing something few if any other Dems are doing THAT THEY SHOULD BE DOING and so we're stuck in this doom loop of what should be a false dilemma.
It's like we're on a desert island and the only caloric thing to eat is bat shit and we're debating over whether we should eat the bat shit when all of these asshole coconut trees inexplicably refuse to bear fruit. THE MOTHERFUCKING TREES ARE THE PROBLEM.

“Newsom is more or less in favor of our Constitutional form of government” puts him head and shoulders above any national level Republican, but tbh it doesn’t particularly stand out in the *Democratic* primaries
He'd be a Republican if he came up through a purple state instead of San Fran/California. (Probably a moderate Republican, but still a Republican - he has no actual core values or principles!)
