This is one of those “why did they start filming at the exact right moment, why did they zoom in on the car before it started parking…etc” situations

I used to work in security cam biz, depending on established camera field programmed, a camera would then move to focus on object and zoom in to capture faces for police. This is normal camera operation.

Honestly, I’ve seen that model parked in spaces 8 feet long by backing up to the curb. That is, both rear wheels touching the curb, pointed perpendicular to traffic flow. Also, if s/he’d just left it on the grass, it doesn’t weigh enough to leave a mark.

the first time I saw a smart car was in Paris and it had parked straight in between two parallel parked cars. I was sold immediately and wanted one.

I’ve driven a fiat this size and it drives like it’s powered by rubber bands which is fine for a city but do not ever ever ever try to take it on a highway.

Just because you have to redline the engine to maintain speed and it feels like you're going to be blown off the road every single time a semi passes is no reason to avoid highways.

I wish I lived someplace where I could use one as an in-town car, but between the every-present, ever-growing giant trucks, and everything else, I don't think that would work out.

And really parallel parking is the least of my concerns with that shit compared to the number of people who don't understand who gets the right of way it intersections who don't understand how a fucking stop sign Works who constantly just run red lights and linger in the passing Lane under speed

Not to mention not too long ago I was cruising along the New York State Thruway to get some weed and cigarettes from a reservation store and I had to pull a dangerous ass Dodge maneuver because some fucking asshole ditched their God damn broken down minivan right in the fucking travel Lane
