I'll point out University of #Alabama has been trying to improve its #academic rankings by throwing money at academically talented out of state students, and that is funded by...really strong #football. There is a LOT at stake with DeBoer underperforming. Why TF would anyone choose Alabama otherwise

Like if I was a talented #Midwest kid of not much means and was offered a full ride to Alabama vs. a full ride (or even half ride) to #OhioState... uh, I'd be choosing Ohio State [both are beet red states, but Columbus is a much more cosmopolitan city, and WAY more consistent football team]
