It’s so hard to properly evaluate line play in preseason. Ultimately, it’s going to be about rates, and how efficient he can be as a pass protector. It doesn’t matter if you look awesome 90% of the time if 10% of the time you let up pressure. You want to be in the 97%+ area. Worried about his rate.

It’s a project in pass pro but by year 4-5 you want to get to the higher 90s. Year 1 is usually damn hard for tackles. Where do you think he is right now/ where do you think he will be at the end of the season for pass rush blocking efficiency? Just a ballpark. Let’s use quintiles 📏 top 20th%, etc

I think the soft schedule and scheme can keep him in the bottom 20th to 40th percentile but not the lowest. I guess he starts and stays there.

Interesting question Can we do run and pass blocking separately? I'd hope for middle quartile (and not ruling out better) in run blocking. And yes, second-to-lowest quartile for pass blocking with some rough games in there.
