One of the great ironies is that us ravers were very overwhelmingly supportive of not clubbing/partying while it was normies who don't party that much who most whined about it.
I’d never heard about that, glad the ravers were more sensible. I’m a pretty extroverted person and I regularly enjoy karaoke, but sacrificing that for awhile to stop thousands from dying never even remotely struck me as an unfair trade off.
There was a great explosion of creative energy after the return of in person partying too. The rave scene was better after lockdown ended than it was for 2-3 years than it was in 2019 IMO. The old you don't appreciate what you've got til it's gone applies here.
