When I was still taking lessons I turned a corner and the sun was blasting down on the road & I couldn’t see ANYTHING from the glare/reflection. I asked how I was meant to drive in this & the instructor said, don’t worry nobody can see.” The idea that you would do that willingly is FUCKING NUTS.

Humans get used to danger if they're exposed to it enough. It's one of the more frightening things about us. Also, polarised sunglasses are what you want to block most of that glare off the road.
I think people dumb enough to be checking their phone etc. while behind the wheel aren’t that cognisant to risk to begin with.
