I agree about Texas. Manning was good, not great. I assume he’ll improve noticeably with more snaps. Bama, though? I don’t think they are in top 25. Simpson should improve, but he needs a running back.

Bama shouldn't have been ranked to begin with tbh Manning was disappointing but I think he was in his own head there until the end, the rest of the team around him though was pretty solid and yeah I think he'll improve a lot.

He was in such a no-win situation. The hype train was so out of control. He’s a really good quarterback, but so many people were expecting him to be the second coming, when he’s literally never shown that talent yet. I think he’ll be fine, but give the kid a minute.

I really think you nailed it. Like the pressure was so immense if he was such a god Ewers (who is mid at best) wouldn't have won the starting spot last year. But hey practicality isn't allowed in sports 😭

I have grown to hate sports talk radio and the ESPN talking head stuff. It’s no longer analysis that helps people understand things and allows them to come to their own conclusions. It’s just barking out opinions and fans just regurgitate them.

I was never really a fan, but im also like a fan that simply enjoys football it's not the end of the world if something isn't good I follow mostly other pro fans and I find when they pipe in on college sports it's like they only listen to espn, meanwhile I've gone down with alabamas sinking ship

Fan bases are so biased- and I know that seems like an obvious thing- but it’s biased to the point of delusion sometimes. Having lived in Pittsburgh and seeing how the Steelers fans truly believe there is never a year they shouldn’t be in the Super Bowl is wild.
