I just saw a sour cream commercial. Which was fine until I saw a lady dip a strawberry in it. That’s…a thing?

hmm. I'd... give it a try. It'd take some strong strawberry game to make it work, but maybe?
🤮 WHAT GROOOSSS. Cream cheese, sure. Sour Cream, wtf 😭
It is a thing. My mom used to do that & she'd put brown sugar on it too. She loved it. I never tried it. She always said that I'd love it if I tried it. Now, being reminded of this, I might have to try it.
Wow, I’ve never heard of that before!
I haven't seen or heard of it in a few years. I don't know if it's a regional thing or not. She was from Ohio. She always said to use a full fat sour cream. I'm guessing it's a sweet & tart/sour thing.
I did not have a positive reaction to it either.
I mean, it doesn't sound terrible.
I don't know if it's a "thing," but I've done it. You need a properly sweet, bright red strawberry. It's a nice marriage of sweet, tart/sour and creaminess.
