I think it shows how a lot of this is just increasing social isolation too. They're empathetic to ChatGPT because they've talked to it, it's really that simple.

I don't think it is that they don't talk to people. I think it is more that they don't trust people. Individualism leaves people isolated in a crowd.

that does not actually make them not human it makes them humans who are trying not to be human

it felt like a lot of people have encouraged me to consider myself inhuman in this way as if that would be comforting and make me feel better it never did i knew i couldn't fit in that box
