“Individual liberty” is cherished when it is used as a tool of private domination (see the new religious liberty), while being consigned to the dustbin when it is sought to be exercised by “others.”

Mostly correct, except for saying “new” religious liberty. Religion isn’t any different today compared to the past, for how it treats outsiders whenever it comes into power.
