This film is very silly, and every time I see it, I enjoy Eileen Brennan's performance even more (Also we got the 1+2+2+1 ending) 🎉🎉🎉

I've actually found myself liking Christopher Lloyd's performance more. He and Tim Curry should have done more movies together.

The difference in seeing it on the big screen was being able to notice more of the small performance subtleties. A lot of quick glances and business going on in the background that I had never noticed before in my many viewings 🔎

I'm glad we got the 1+2+2+1 ending because I have always felt like it was the strongest (in terms of the mystery solution and the end gags). People like the third one a lot (mostly for Mrs. White's flames) but I find it kinda unwieldy

If they ever have a stage production, I highly recommend seeing that. It uses the third ending, but adds quite a bit that I'd say elevates it above the film.

I first saw it on DVD a few years ago. Partway through I jokingly declared (spoiler alert in case any other commenters haven't seen it) "Everybody did it!" About an hour later... 😆
