For people who don't watch. What they did was the equivalent of a mystery where you spend the first 20 episodes wondering who is gonna murder the rich guy. All the storylines are about the rich guy. And then in Episode 21 they just drop a giant rock on him and there's still 10 episodes left
Can you please explain in Simpsons terms?
It’s sort of like if Who Shot Mr Burns Part 1 was the season premiere of Season 6 and all of the season was about that, only to show and kill who did it (let’s say not Maggie) on episode 10.

That's a great description. It's very much in the "final season of Game of Thrones" school of storytelling
