I'm LOVING that green!
I'm LOVING that green!
Me too! The yellow undertone is so bright. β¨
Also can we agree that the top left colour is pink and not lilac, please? I definitely think it's pink. But it's caused some head-tilt here. (I mean... Potato, potaahto tho, eh? It's still a good early evening cloud colour, whatever it is. π)
This is made with red chalk or red rock, which is chalk permeated by haematite (the same stuff that makes red ochre red.) PSA: If you're collecting it locally - check first that the area isn't protected, and don't be a dick. Some places around down here (south coast, UK) are protected, at least.
That pink resembles potter's pink.
It sorta does, it's grey-er tho, and the granulation is not quite as crunchy.
And I love your term. "Crunchy" granulation.
Mauve?
Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that word! π
I love all four of these together π₯°
Oof that green is fuckin magnificent!
So lime-y! πβπ©
The bestest type of green in my view
I love them all! Can I ask the name of that green color?
The vanity name is lime, the pigment name is PY74 + PB60.
I'm always on the lookout for new greens! Lately I've been using Permanent Green Light, which is too bright by itself, but mixes well with other colors.
The pigments used in permanent green light differ between brands, but some are made with similar combinations to this colour. My personal fav green for mixing is PG36 phthalo green yellow shade - I use it a lot in mixing foliage colours!
I've never tried that one, thanks!
You are so talented! Awesome! π
Oh my goodness π€©
