Interesting and appealing to know for reference...I reached out to my insurance company to get a quote on adding a new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV to my policy, and hypothetically doing so would cost $1,400 a year or ~$116 a month total for my wife and I. Nice to have some real-world numbers.

Our Bolt EUV is super cheap to insure. Less than our old Mazda CX-5. Ariya is slightly more but not bad

Our insurance for 2 brand new EVs is just about the same as it was for our 2 fully insured gas cars in Oregon.

I got a similar number for a Bolt EV and decided against it.
