Okay hear me out...a major ergonomical win on the 2025 Infiniti QX80 Autograph's steering wheel is this. When gripping the wheel at 3 notice how the angle of the toggle wheel is far more comfortable for your thumb to scroll (green line), rather than stretching over first then up or down (red line).

Yikes...*mind-blowing* numbers from a report issued by the Consumer Federation of America: -20% of new car buyers owe at least $1,000 a month on their auto loans. -Collectively U.S. consumers owe more than $1.66 trillion in auto loan debt. -1 in 5 consumers commit to a 7-year new car loan.
Now is the time, folks. You have 20 days to take advantage of that $7,500 federal tax credit toward a new EV *and* as confirmed to me just now, you *can stack* that tax credit atop any incentives from Costco. BIG savings depending on your tier of membership.
Fabulous interior design, banger 24-speaker Klipsch stereo (but the headrest speakers are pointless), excellent infotainment, some puzzling ergonomics and missing luxury "musts". Infiniti came *so* close in executing this 2025 QX80 Autograph to be a top-notch competitor.

Fall coffee drinks have returned. There's a lot I think Infiniti did well when crafting the all-new 2025 QX80 Autograph's cabin, like the abundance of soft stitched and quilted leather, and a *very* good (finally modern) infotainment. Some ergonomics, however, need fixing.
The graph says it all: The share of the #EV market held by #Tesla is now at lows not seen since 2017, the 1st year of its first affordable volume vehicle, the Model 3. Meanwhile, GM issued a quiet press release noting its lineup of 12 EV models sold enough to make it the 2nd best-selling EV maker.

Truly...from a superficial observation...the difference in execution between BMW's new iX3 and Mercedes-Benz's GLC-Class I think are a clear indicator of each brand's level of commitment and excitement toward a future of EVs. It's striking, really.

But remember folks, EVs are not "dead" and even if we see sales slow, people are going to continue and continue buying them...especially as EVs become cheaper, more enticing models arrive, and more consumers realize EV ownership does make sense. This is the future.
September is going to be interesting for EV sales. It's the final countdown to get one using any federal tax credit, which we know is very important amongst shoppers, plus these lease and finance deals right now are ridiculously cheap. I expect we'll see one last rush before sales come to a crawl.
