This is from my freeze drying adventure!!! Even the yogurt! We have a little spice grinder so after it's dry, I throw them in there. bsky.app/profile/most...

I am confused by the freeze drying of yogurt since for me yogurt is a powder culture you add to milk and let set so is this just taking it back to the culture?

pretty much, except I got a bunch of greek yogurt and I mixed stuff in, like one of them I mixed in peaches and one I mixed in a ton of strawberry jam. my ORIGINAL idea was they would be little freeze dried snacks, but it turned out I did not like the texture of them. LOL so I was like "smoothie?"

I remember when the kids were tiny and we'd give them the freeze dried yogurt bits. They loved them but yeah, not a great texture.

My problem was I made them WAY TOO BIG and like, if I took a bite off of one it was great! But popping that whole thing in my mouth, it was trying to rehydrate in my mouth before I could chew and I was like "oh no I have made a terrible mistake" lol
