The 26th Amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18 in July, 1971. In large part because you could get killed in Vietnam years before you were 21 with no say in being sent there. When I said they should lower it again to 13 somebody here told me I was crazy. (Duh). Let the ones dying vote.

18,000 children have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the war in October 2023. 10s of 1000s more since Israel started stealing land about 75 years ago. Millions of kids die in wars and famine...but as long as they're not white Americans...no one cares. And America is the main "gun" seller.
