(needless to day, Mamdani isn't "continually using the phrase" and it's not part of "his go-to material". I am not aware of a single example of him using the phrase. Even when asked to denounce it, he's careful not to say the words.)

This outlet is local to me and I feel like this is borderline slander/libel, no? Any way to alert the campaign and get a retraction?

Because they're "just" quoting other people, they can get away with saying it's not THEIR assertion. So who are these people slandering Mamdani? *smugface* "We can't reveal our sources..."

You can be held liable for repeating other people’s lies. It’s just that public figures like Mamdani face a higher bar when suing for libel.
