#16 - River City Girls Of late I’ve been digging into the oodles of freebies I’ve accumulated over the years from various non-Steam storefronts, and finally sat down to this delightful morsel. The character animation is joyful and hilarious. Makes me want to play every other Kunio-kun game.
#17 - SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech I like a SteamWorld every now and then, don't you? They're charming and polished and don't overstay their welcome. I don't often take to deckbuilders, but this one has snappy combat and some real fun characters. Would steam again.
#18 - Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils What a fun little surprise this was! A retro Game Boy Color visual aesthetic, a bunch of cute characters, and extremely bouncy platforming. More games should offer the slide-dash-into-a-rising-jumpkick move that Richter has in Symphony of the Night.
#19 - Etrian Odyssey II HD i wish to live in the labyrinth life is much simpler in the labyrinth
#20 - The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel "Kiseki doesn't misseki," as they say. This game rules so hard. Getting to know every single weirdo at Thors Military Academy is a delight. Bless this series for having a cast of thousands and makin' me care about all of 'em. Keep 'em comin'.
