“Catholics don’t do fire and brimstone sermons.” Clearly some people haven’t heard the pastor reminding people for the THIRD TIME THIS YEAR that leaving mass immediately after communion but before the announcements is NOT COOL.

I had a priest pull that shit on my grandmother once. Had to loudly explain to him after Mass that she left early because she was sick from the chemo.

Not always. Vividly remember a Christmas sunrise service where the priest went completely off script, screaming at the congregation because he saw someone yawning. It was 45 yrs ago, I remember it like it was yesterday.
